Substitute Information
If you are interested in applying to be a substitute in our district, we require the following:
- Contact the Tulare County Office of Education at (559) 733-6300 to make arrangements for fingerprinting and to get on the Countywide Substitute List.
- Complete an application at the district office providing proof of a bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited college or university and verification of CBEST.
Student Teaching
If you are working towards earning your teaching credential and are interested in fulfilling your initial or final student teaching process at one of our high school campuses, please have your master teacher contact Assistant Superintendent Tammy Aldaco at the district office (559) 688-2021. Mrs. Aldaco will provide the master teacher with the criteria for application and assist in the placement of student teachers in their initial or final stage. We follow the same protocol for any university or college student who would like to observe classes or job shadow at any of our campuses.
